Yeah, if chuubanite brought to Viti loses most of its connection to the heavens, it'll probably be depleted eventually. Their bones will retain their unusual chemical composition, but their skin will recover its melanin, their hair will grow back, and their body will return to the usual amount of plumpness. This would probably take a few years.
Though they could undergo the New Deabeatification 2: Electric Boogaloo; Viti Edition process and become the local sort of Deadbeat kek. Double Deadbeats if you will.

As for /morig/, it all comes down to to bones. It's a very bone-focused general, so improving, modifying, evolving bones and what you do with them comes naturally. Most biopunk is more "fleshy", so I can see why skeleton-based bioengineering isn't the first thing to come to mind.

Climates are basically a different thing from biomes, there are some correlations, but they're not really directly comparable. For Mediterranean climate its most defining characteristics is its winter being wetter than summer. I think it's reasonable to assume that some parts of the savanna-forest border have that feature due to the rain shadow cast by the mountains in /morig/-/vspo/-western /jidf/ during /jidf/'s summer (while the winter wind is probably wetter due to a relative lack of mountains southwest of /jidf/, and the lakes immediately south of /jidf/ could help moisten the air as well). That said it's pretty close to the Equator according to the github map so the temperature difference between winter and summer might not be very prominent.

Oh yeah, I kind of forgot to look at the borders while making this. I now realize that upper river was meant to be a border river, though geographically it didn't work with the relief map.
Either I would need to change the river to better fit /vnug/'s current borders, or /vnug/ could expand their borders upward to be more geographically compatible with the relatively new relief map.
As for the /uuu/ border it does seep a bit, though not enough for it to be out of the range of the natural meandering of rivers over time.

I suppose if all else fails for medieval finger food there's always barbecue skewers. Divegrass is a special event where Baker-chan can sell almost any finger food. Corn tortillas can be used for about anything from crisps to tacos and burritos. Sliders can be made with just about anything. Vnuggets work! It’s how we’re called in our threads (when it’s not vnuggies) so it fits. I have other made-up names for this setting but they probably aren’t as representative anyway
I guess compared to /who/ we’re not as development-minded (or at least we tend to do it further north or underground) so it naturally leads to fewer conflicts with saplings. Having a low population and a somewhat more prey-like mind likely also instilled them some degree of fearful respect towards the nature as well even if it means some of us had to learn it the hard way

>>70022882
Hello! I haven’t been writing much lately even though I probably should start rehabilitating my writing skills. In terms of what to write I wanna fill up the lore rentry more but at the same time I feel what Viti needs now is more stories that let people relate to the world better than just walls of lore, so maybe I’ll write more about the girl from tale 1 once I decided what to do with her
I don’t have anything specific in mind but you’re always welcomed to write for us! I guess the more sensual things should be your focus since I don’t see myself touching those

Ice-cream sandwiches are ice-cream put together between two soft cookie "breads". The breads are as important if not more important than the filling. Strawberry is easy with shortbread cookies, which are butter and sugar. Chocomint uses chocolate cookies. Salted caramel might be tough to find a cookie for. Maybe it can have a less sweet bread since the filling would be strong. Also milk tea would be tough because the cookie would easily over power the flavor. Maybe a wafer sandwich can work?

Bros I fucking love Terry Pratchett. That's such a good quote. "An Arthurian Sword at sunset", sheesh I wanna steal that.
>Benedict was one of the cultural anthropologists recruited by the US government after its entry into World War II. She played a major role in grasping the place of the Emperor of Japan in popular Japanese culture and formulated the recommendation to President Roosevelt that the continuation of the Emperor's reign should be part of the surrender offer.
Huh, that's a cool wikipedia article. Does every culture have a symbol that should survive if you don't want its identity to be irrevocably changed? I guess for us in my cases it would be connection to the respective gods.
Masom is very anime, I approb. Does this translate to geopolitics, or does this apply more to the individual level?

Terry Pratchett is so good! That quote in particular has always stuck with me ever since I first read it so I’ve been itching to steal it somehow. Maybe someday I should reread them for inspiration
The tricky thing about national character’s that on one hand it’s probably true. There’s always something that’s a fundamental part of a culture that you can’t take away without changing it, but on the other hand it’s a slippery slope to ethnic stereotyping since it’s not like everyone from that culture will agree to it (it’s not like Japan doesn’t have small-r republicans even if they’re rather rare), to say nothing about elements that could be seen negatively. The good thing about fiction and fantasy race’s that you can write about these things (mostly) without worrying about stepping on landmines
Masom’s how I interpret the concept of han supposedly in Korean culture! It’s a somewhat touchy subject and /vnug/ hasn’t been particularly Korean for a while now so I figured this interpretation’s probably more fitting for modern /vnug/ in a fantastic manner. Pragmatism definitely plays a bigger role when it comes to politics but I imagine it’ll still seep through somehow. I don’t think it’ll go full dwarf grudge but diplomacy with /vnug/ might end up having its oddities because of that

It is interesting how religion leads to different kinds of economics. Perhaps its because different religion puts different values in different things. Food is the cornerstone of trade. It's also interesting how different commodities and labor are valued differently based on the culture.

Man I ate some crappy store brand deep dish pizzas and now I have no motivation tonight. But I'm going to worldbuild something.

While Baker-chan comes from /nasa/ she isn't representing /nasa/. She's her own character and story with very little relationship to /nasa/. Same with "rocket man." While rocket man lives on the station his job is to deliver orders of supply drops. When you see a shooting star in the sky, just know that might be a supply drop coming from one of the stations.

I'm thinking supply drop orders come two ways. First the client makes an order. Once the transaction is made the station sends a supply drop to an estimated location. Orders are done via satellite link accounts tied to banks. I'm still figuring out how Baker-chan sends goods back to the station for profit. I'm also thinking if she can make profit from auctioning off commodities and treasures to other Sanallites. If not her directly then Rocket Man can.

Maybe there's a canon on her airship to shoot small packages into orbit? And then rocketman can pick them up. If the airship gets high enough in the atmosphere and the packages aren't too big I think it's pretty reasonable. Otherwise rocketman would need a shuttle.

I was thinking about making a silo holding rocket drones that delivers the goods back to the station. The location of the silo is unknown. However there are depots and caches that Sanallites use to store supplies for when they are traveling. For Baker-chan she can use a smaller delivery air machine piloted by another bread dog to deliver her goods to the depots. And if some of the goods is immediately useable supplies then they'll be sold to the caches for credit. That said credit is only good at Sanallite bases.

>> No.70124332

Alternative idea: Baker-chan is the last Sanallite from Vitubia and Sanallites do not exist in Viti. Anyway time to sleep on this.
