I read some of the stories in the archive today that I've been sleeping on and got inspired to write some Fubuki fluff.
So far I got the setup figured out and the situations that will play out, but I can't pick between the two ways I have planned for the story to go.

Have you tried changing up your writing style a bit? The most common format of writing big paragraphs of descriptions seperated by dialogue doesn't work that well with a lot of characters doing something at the same time. If you seperate dialogue with just one or two sentences of how the others react, it could make your life easier.

For example, instead of:

Anon: "I am going to eat your ass my friend."

Shion: "*Muffled cock sucking sounds.*"

<Insert one long paragraph describing everyones actions, reactions, and some other stuff. Somehow.>


You instead do this:

Thinking about my writing, I love people talking about it. I don't like creative writing to start with because of the mental stress, so all the satisfaction comes from the smiles on your faces and the stains on your tissues.

I've only ever posted one story here, but it seemed to be well received by Anons, which I'm very glad for.
I haven't seen my story mentioned anywhere in talks, but when it comes to anything I've created (be it a story, drawing or whatever) I always feel an odd sense of pride if my works have been cited as a source of inspiration or enjoyment. I think that consensual guro is a topic that deserves much more recognition but barely anyone writes about it so I decided to take matters into my own hands. The background lore of the girls I have written about practically begs for stories like that (shark-human hybrid/time travel device/pact with otherworldly gods). I can also see Kiara fit in perfectly into a story like that with her phoenix background.

The problem with gory stories like that or with smut in general is that you eventually start to repeat yourself and that's basically what keeps me from writing lately. Every time I try to write some gore or smut I realize that I have written the exact same scenes before. I mean, how do you even bring some variety in a cannibalism scene? Make her eat a pancreas instead of a spleen? But that's just my blogpost.

I won't lie, whenever I post a story i always have a nagging feeling that it'll disappoint, so eventually when people say it's good and stuff makes me happy. But it's when people really get into talking about how much my story has affected them is where I would say I feel the proudest about my story. When I finished the menhera wrangler series and people mentioned how the bittersweet ending really hit hard, it did feel like I managed to accomplish my goal with writing the story. I also appreciated the criticisms that came with it, and I'll use it in my future works.

As a reader, I'm genuinely glad to read through most of the works. Some I use for inspiration for characterization and storytelling like holofantasy, holocalypse, cover high, etc, but also just as masturbatory material and fun(I've read Sleeping Beauty multiple times just because of the incredibly sensual descriptions).

All in all, I'm genuinely glad to have stumbled, contributed and take part in the collection of anons that reside in this thread. Keep writing, keep reading, and keep shitposting /wg/

I felt a massive disconnect between what you seemed to want me to feel and what I actually felt. You established Polka has been spiralling out of control over her feelings of inferiority, noting that she was, for lack of a more fitting phrase, acting like a cunt. But as we listen to her abuse you, her sole caretaker and companion - ie, the only person she has left whom she can rely on - there's a sudden massive tonal shift as anon says something hurtful and we go into depression mode. As for your criticism - I absolutely agree with you. Even after reading through it so many times, I kept thinking that maybe I made Fubuki a bit too out of character. But to be fair, my headcanon is that while she does keep everyone at an arm's length as you said, I do think that if she were to get in a relationship, she'd be extremely devoted. Not in an unnerving kind of way, but still quite devoted.
Overall, I agree with your criticism, I could've done better when characterizing her, but at the end of the day, I wanted it to be just a fluffy story for my personal enjoyment (and hopefully others' as well).
