You should be fucking ecstatic that this is happening. Stock price won't significantly impact SCs, merch or viewership, so as long as Anycolor doesn't change their contracts they will be fine and might even get treated better in the future since if there's someone with half a brain over there, now there's actually a market incentive to not overexploit your talents.

The angel investor thing is probably the biggest motivator. The studio was already built so 'recouping money' just looks like sort of a cope. The only reason for a lot of investors to put in money for small companies early is so they can ride the meteoric rise in price on initial expansion, get out before it slows down, and do it all over again to other startups. They don't care if your business is going to grow by a great 40% every year if they can use that money better in another business growing at a spectacular 300% a year.

hello degenerates. a friend of mine asked me to look at this thread as I am, if I might put it mildly, a fucking market genius.

these numbers aren't good for anycolor. similar single day capped losses historically do not happen in isolation. you should expect to see the price drop significantly further in the near term. a closing valuation of 2000yen or less per by the end of next week is all but guaranteed.

The financial report for Q3 was released yesterday:
- vague as fuck 'we're doing good, don't look at the fact that we missed the target revenue' phrases
- funny maths gymnastics
- funny 'weeeell, we're doing this and that and it'll be goood but we're not telling you what it is exactly' things
- Minus 40% YoY for the EN branch
AND Q3 ends on Jan 31 so Q4 (Doki shit and what followed that), report will be total EN death. So obviously investors pulled out.

I don't see what he could possibly pull out of his ass to salvage this. Even if they somehow arranged and held another equally-successful Nijifes in the remaining month of Q4 they would miss their annual target by a mile. EN was supposed to be their main source of growth and it's down 40% YoY even before they got to the current situation.

You need to look at the amount of investment and risk and that the market is first come first served.

So the situation could be:
>100 people are trying to dump their shares.
>You in your infinite wisdom goes 'oh boy time to do a little penny-pinching!'
>You buy 1000 shares at 2455 from one of these people who gratefully get out, then sell with a minimum price of 2470
>You wait for the queue of sellers-to-suckers in front of you to clear (no guarantee this happens, price could rise because some dude bought ten shares at 2470 for the memes)
>Make 150 bucks minus brokerage fees
>This means you risked 24.5K for a return of 150 dollars on one cycle of this
>Oops, the queue keeps getting longer and longer (maybe because some people decided to do the same thing you're doing) and you couldn't sell before market close
>Monday rolls around, stocks crash to 1950

It's even funnier if you look at the 1y chart. The last time 5032.T was under 2500 was on March 15, 2023 - one year ago tomorrow.
Everything they've gained since then is now gone, and there is a very high chance that the stock will hit an all time low on Monday (does Tokyo do after-hours trading on Friday afternoons after 3pm/Monday mornings before 9am?) of at or just above 1940 yen per share.

At this point I can't help but wonder if they'll even still be listed before the end of Q4.
