She's not using abilities, unironically thinking that outliving her enemies is better than killing them faster. All commands she uses are mostly magic and potions, all while only using the ATB gauge of the character she's mashing attacks with.
It's not fair to completely blame her on all of it though. It's just this game that's using an abomination of combined turn-based combat and real-time action makes it unforgiving for those who doesn't have the aptitude on both of them.

I think most of the issues came from people who were worried she was actually going to replace her greeting with it. But it would be wrong to think she would for several reasons and she knew the nousagi got riled up from it and used it to tease.
After Noel got subjected to that greeting she explained afterwards that if she were to reject it then Pekora would have just planted her feet harder so rather than deny her she humored it because she knew Pekora just wanted to have some fun with it for a week or two before it would subside.

Now that it is an occasional gag it is perfect and a lot of that most likely comes from the way she introduced it since that brought a ton of attention to it.

Nah, it is Discommunication Alien, and one to be released soon which I think is Shoujo Rei but Suisei recently covered it so maybe not. Pekora in general just wants to play games.
