I really love Matsuri. Like, a lot. Like, a whole lot. You have no idea. I love her so much that it is inexplicable, and I'm ninety-nine percent sure that I have an unhealthy obsession. I will never get tired of listening that sweet, angelic voice of hers. It is my life goal to meet up her with her in real life and just say hello to her. I fall asleep at night dreaming of her holding a personal concert for me, and then she would be sorry tired that she comes and cuddles up to me while we sleep together. If I could just hold her hand for a brief moment, I could die happy. If given the opportunity, I would lightly nibble on her ear just to hear what kind of sweet moans she would let out. Then, I would hug her while she clings to my body hoping that I would stop, but I only continue as she moans louder and louder. I would give up almost anything just for her to look in my general direction. No matter what I do, I am constantly thinking of her. When I wake up, she is the first thing on my mind. When I go to school, I can only focus on her. When I go come home, I go on the computer so that I can listen to her beautiful voice. When I go to sleep, I dream of her and I living a happy life together. She is my pride, passion, and joy. If she were to call me "Onii-chan," I would probably get diabetes from her sweetness and die. phew what a mess. they kept getting the short end of the stick with team comp. Matsuri's slowly learning and the chat went really heavy on backseating. pretty much necessary because of their total lack of experience. Matsuri got mvp most of the time but that was a consolation at best.

Matsuri's beautiful voice has me in tears almost everytime she performs emotional songs like that. I love her so much. I always say this but her utawakus really are the best.

I can't believe I used to skip her utawakus back in the day. Like early 2020 or so. I guess my nihongo was still too shit to get anything out of the zatsu part and well, desu she wasn't as good at singing back then either. But now it's easily her best content for me personally.

Johnny is cool because he's actually good at the game and he supports Matsuri's efforts to improve. Her exchanges with him are really funny at times, especially when there are miscalls. They both have a particular way of calling their damage; She even tweeted a clip of one of those moments within the last hour or two. Eden is cool too, and so is the other FFL pro she played with because they both entertained her cheerfulness the last tourney when they could've easily just played it straight and serious. Eden straight up became a matsurisu through the course of it. In all cases it's really less about them and more about how Matsuri plays off of them. And that is pretty much just Matsuri being Matsuri. I enjoy Matsuri just being herself. The only thing I'd change is her tendency to apologize whenever she loses.
Tourneys can be boring and if you don't want to watch them that's perfectly fine. The pacing and the dead air between games can be really bad. But characterizing her simply playing APEX with friends as dodging a bullet is patronizing. She just wants to have a good time. When she's having a good time, I'm having a good time.

It's not problematic, nor have I implied there was an issue with it, it's simply just less entertaining than the rest of her content. She can play all she wants, I don't mind, it's just that at the end of the day after a 3 hour gaming session with some half-familiar faces I feel less entertained than after barely 1 hour of literally anything else. I can only speak for myself of course, if you love her Apex then all the power to you. I just don't get as much out of it as I used to.

I disagree and my point is simply that with several hours of Apex there's potentially minutes of silence or extremely dull gameplay and team comms before you get the regular entertaining, cute or funny moments. Take a non-apex stream and the same entertainment is condensed into 1-2 hours without usually a single dull moment.

Haven't been enthusiastic with Matsuri's streams as of late. Felt like her streams quality have been dropping and it's not as entertaining anymore.

I'm not into APEX so it's whatever aside from some fun moments with her team. The lack of in-house collaboration with holo is rather disappointing.

For karaoke, her singing voice is nice to listen to as always, but aside from the last karaoke, the setlist has been the same setlist repeated.

There's just barely any diversification and the stream only last for roughly one hour now.

Been supporting and following Matsuri since late 2018 and if it wasn't for her voice, I can't even tell if I'm watching the same person behind the screen.

At the very least her twitcast and zatsudan are still as enjoyable.

Besides, she had a really good run around the time MHR released, her average stream time extended to like at least 2 hours if not 3 for like a month or two. Her karaoke being timeboxed to an hour is interesting but it's balanced by her deciding she wants to do at least one utawaku per week. But yeah we know she can easily sing longer than that. Other than that she's always been a FOTM girl just like the majority of holos. Her variety ends up being driven by whatever is in vogue. It seems a bit hyperbolic to say you can't tell if you're watching the same person while maintaining that her zatsu, twitcast and singing continue to be good. Maybe ask if she do more of those on Twitter or during a mengen? Anecdotally I've found her to be receptive to my comments but I can't tell if it's because of the 12mo badge or if she's keeping track of her uni members. It could work.

On a slightly related note, I personally found her to be much funnier back when she pushed more of her edgy brat persona. She's really mellowed out since then as she very explicitly moved towards more mature and (slightly) more seiso. Her underlying personality and voice continue to draw me in however. And her laugh. She has the best laugh.

This is what we said during CR Cup 5, and what she herself said after CR Cup 5, and then the same thing repeated with 3 other tourneys as well. Each time she said that "I'll have time after the tournament". Not only that, she also did some tweets saying that "I don't have work for a few days so I can fully focus on streaming now!" and it didn't happen a single time. I think the signs are pretty clear that it's not the tourneys themselves that are holding her back, it's her own volition and she can create an infinite amount of excuses to focus on apex or not stream if she feels like it

I agree, even though it hurts to say as her streams are usually the highlight of my day. But her deliveries have already improved after her birthday which had only a few break days leading up to it (which happened because of the drama though) so I could imagine her having more interest and energy in streaming if she went offline for at least 2 weeks. Some of you might remember I made a post a couple months back where I calculated her frequency of Apex streams from the past 3 months, where it ended up with about a 35% frequency, and 20% if not counting tournament weeks (i.e normal schedule)

Well, I did it again just now since the past 3 months have felt like hell honestly speaking. Last time I made the post I didn't mind Apex streams but I can't stand them anymore. I guess it's all the schedule hell on top that really made me despise Apex streams, as she will never ever second doubt streaming Apex, the moment she feels like Apex stream then it is 100% Apex stream but if it's literally anything else, she is hesitant and second guesses herself to the point of delaying and cancelling streams indefinitely.

Personal feelings aside, I was surprised to find we're still at around a 36% frequency. Weird, because it feels like much more than that.
Then I remembered that in every tournament from this time, she's skipped streaming scrim days at least one or two days each tournament, she also kept popping up in Aim's stream, fucking her sleep schedule and potential streams as well. Then there's the few days she said she would stream but ended up doing radio silence and posting Apex clips at 4AM. One example off the top of my head is one of the mengens she delayed for a whopping 4 days straight.

Take it as you will, but technically speaking this would easily increase the frequency of Apex streams, or Apex blocking possible activities to 40%. If not more. We're closing in to half Apex now, with essentially no guarantee of anything else without going through the schedule grinder.

There's a rising trend, and I'm not so sure anymore I want to stay and watch it. I kept lying to myself for the past months saying that she'll get back to form and we'll go back to the glory days with great variety in content, solid delivery and working hard to bring great entertainment to fans. Remember the times around Fes2 and Bloom? It was really good. The frequency of Apex was fairly high for sure, but it wasn't anything ridiculous. There was a little something for everyone. Little to no risk of getting baited, shit was good.
I think it's time to accept that Matsuri has changed. For the better or worse? Depends on the viewer I guess. But she clearly has new goals and different priorities in mind now, as well as a completely different work ethic. It's not the same Matsuri I fell in love with way back. I hope she meets her newfound goals of course, but I'm quickly losing interest in watching it play out.

I don't really understand what good you have found in her streams for the last 3 months. Of the good, there were only tc/spaces and uta. Even at monhun, she was not particularly enthusiastic. She played primarily because of the hype and to keep up with the rest. And that was 4 months ago. Since then, we have not seen any games performed by her (ronpa was sponsored?) As well as the desire to stream in general.
And now, thanks to the situation with Haato, even the dislike can no longer express the attitude towards the apex. She filtered out any opportunity to influence her decisions. But anyway, what I meant was they downed one, then another, then a 3rd but apparently the enemy somehow managed a revive against a full 3 stack so there are still 2 enemies...
