thankfully, the first Fatalis assignment gives 5 carts, but still he one-shots constantly. AND is on a 30 min timer. so many people time out. A fight where you have to be constantly attacking and making sure you never get hit. He's pretty fun.

There's also Arch Tempered monsters including Velkhana which came out after Fatalis but she may not do those

My biggest gripe with alatreon is they clearly want you to wall bang it due to how much horn damage it does... then make the boss run around the arena and the wall bang areas tiny so it's super hard to get consistently.

Regarded tourist here. I'm shit and managed to solo the entire game plus this dude in a few tries. He's much easier when you can break a horn + elemental topple before the first 2 judgments. After that I just attacked and carted (using a Healing Palico for the extra live) until it was dead. I had to spent almost an entire Sunday for normal Fatty tho. Holy shit, her English chat sucks! Expected given the game and THAT part of the audience. . I've been playing solo since MH4U, it is doable and not that hard. I guess this is just not the game for whoever is complaining, but I agree that its usual gameplay loop is kind of boring to watch. Another thing, if she can't defeat Alatreon today, I'll steal Pekomami for myself!

Hey Pekobros, tourist here. I'm a pretty big MHW schizo, so I was pretty impressed with Pekora beating Alatreon solo, especially since she hadn't grinded as much as I had when I beat him solo. Congrats to you and your oshi.
What build was she running when she beat him? Her MHWI playthrough has inspired me to play the game again. I want to beat Alatreon while being as under-equipped as she was (I had a lot of really good decos and a ton of augments when I beat him initially). The problem with the term casual gamer in many genres/communities is that it has a double meaning lack of skill level or wanting to improve, not just that you game occasionally. I call myself a retired gamer nowadays. I occasionally dip into new games but most just doesn't click, and then on some rare occasions I reawaken and have 12 hour gaming days again, but then often playing something I really loved from the past.

But I wouldn't call Pekora a casual gamer in any sense of the term, heck she's even a whale in some titles. She plays almost everything, and manages to beat a lot of games considered challenging. this is exactly the problem, ALL holo girls(that I watch) always play defensively in games like this (with the only exception being luna). Normally this would be fine, but the timer is too short to play safe. You HAVE to play aggressively in order to beat fatalis, no shortcut like sticky ammo with rajang (except SOS)
