I can’t help but agree with this decision. Mori’s got a lot of stuff she has to do so long series seem to become obligations rather than something fun. it's kind of the nature of these games, they're usually made by fairly low skilled teams with low focus on optimization as they're PC only titles and PCs can be massively overbuffed
add the massive amount of things they need to render in real time, all of the object interactions, constant exchange of info with the server and you get a hungry clusterfuck

I don't speak Japanese so I can't really say much, as I don't know what the conversations being held are about most of the time, but Mori seems to enjoy VCR quite a lot and it makes me happy to see that.
