I was always considered the opposite: Whenever I'm uncertain I turtle up and end up allowing my opponent to get away with murder. I had people avoid me before because I'd win via timeout since I'm VERY good at blocking and teching throws.

Sometimes I just block to get a gist of how my opponent plays, and I've noticed that the modern'd the game is, the more impatient people get.

I honestly haven't really played too much after the first month of release aside from dipping my toes into the game. I play fightan pretty casually.
I do find it funny they gave Miko little warning cones. I remember her being a really strong collab at launch and it seems she still strong now just by the fact she can take back a turn.

What causes the insane Idol Slowdown online?
The game runs perfectly fine for me and I managed to get only ONE guy with a good network. Whenever I play with anyone else it starts randomly playing at 30fps or something. I even went to the trouble of lowering all settings to possibly match their machines.

Learning UNI2 for the first time and playing Eltnum.
I can do her combo ender fine but god damn her mid combo dashes. I can do the input usually but the recovery is so fast.
It's the 2A > 2B > 2C > jc > (dl.)j.B > j.A > j.C, 66C > 22B, 66C > 22B, 66C > 22C beginner combo.

After the j.BAC part, I can do the 66C, but the recovery comes up super fast before it hits. How can I be more consistent with this? Is it the delay on the j.B that's messing me up?

If people want to play an anime fighter that nobody cares about because it doesn't have 3D models for the omega generation, might as well be Idol Showdown. A big patch just dropped which supposedly fixes a lot of online lobby and queuing issues that people had with the game. Also made the game run better on lower end PCs.

Your help is appreciated. After some more practice I think it's because I'm not close enough at the start because her 66C has hit before the kick which gives her time to follow up with the kick if she's close enough. I've been able to do it more consistently If I do something like 3C > jc > dl.j.B > j.A > j.C, 66C > into the gun ender so I think with the 2A starter, I just have to be up in his ass since now I've been able to land it more.
