People that watch vtubers and specially spanish speaking people are already familiarized with anime and japanese. The numbers didnt go down even after 6 months (yeah the streams during february reached 1k but the numbers didnt go down that much and lia new outfit reveal reached her numbers from february).
The fanbase is already established and misopa helped to solidify it. Im positive that wactor will grow from here, they need to add someone that can speak both english and spanish since laila doenst really feel comfortable speaking with her english

Wactor is a low tier vtuber company, and bilibili has been investing hard in vtuber since early 2020, I suppose wactor got financially aid and some sort of contract that was better than nothing for them.

The whole hololive drama with china wasn't because of the taiwan shit or whatever it was, it was about bilibili forcing Cover to sell part of the company to them and 100% controll of the CN branch, but Cover decided to pull out and close the CN branch, which in the long run was for the best.

Wactor now is tied by a contract that I'm sure force them to produce a certain amount of stream hours in bilibili.

I doubt anything bad will happen with WACTOR, because is getting popular in bilibili and youtube, but you will never get any collab with hololive or with anything that could be political negative for China.
