They're valid for 10 years if you live in the US. So yeah, you should get one if you think you'll have to travel any time in the next 10 years. It's super easy to get one too. I wish I could remember the exact stream so I could post a timestamp but she's talked about her most played games before. She mentioned playing like 400 hours of an animal crossing game and thought that was a lot, then was impressed by people in chat mentioning they had several thousand hours in certain games.
