I don't care for fantasy settings or mythical backstory.

Kind of tired of it since Holo has done nothing but ultra-fantasy chars since Gen 3 essentially.

At this point going with a bunch of normal/normalish ones without nonhuman settings (aqua, haachama etc) would actually be a plus; a whole gen of those actually would be a refreshing thing from Cover instead of yet more fantasy. Being extra-fantastical doesn't help worth a shit, in fact it can get in the way with annoying habits like Luna or otherwise just is useless filler junk nobody really cares about.

There's a legion of small agency and indie chubas with no memorable characteristics to speak of. Go forth, my brothers, and revel in their bountiful content.

What's the inlore reason why Sherlock/Watson has hallucinatory drugs?

I like how Chammers and Watson had non-fantastical character backgrounds but created lore for themselves over time naturally instead of just dumping a bunch of backstory from the beginning and then never mentioning it again.

Sherlock's investigation powers relied heavily on cocaine. No joke, in the books cocaine was like spinach to Popeye.
I think it was modeled as part of Ame's design that was kind of hidden beneath her skirt which was supposed to be kind of a nod to that and she just rolled with it She probably has a few syringes for that 'just in case'.

I think this is the superior approach. Some of the best backstory was made by the talents, not by committee.

Gura began to do that as well with her Gawr persona. I think it's fun.

Are you implying that Lancer's history as a half-shark atlantean dwarf ISN'T a realistic depiction of someone you might come across in real life?

Also sherlock is a chemist with a sense of justice before being the guardian of law. Writing tip if you want a main character who is book smart but kind of an asshole make them a chemist.

What are your thoughts on the Taliban offensive in Afghanistan and the Panjshir Resistance? Do they have a chance?
