Just checked the numbers and so far she has the lowest subs of her gen. Not gonna shit on her because I think she is unique among the streamers of hololive. But what do you guys think about her accent and hobby?

I am not a native speaker and her accent, although sounding very nice, kinda filters me because it's sometimes hard to hear what she is saying. Obviously it's not gonna change but I just want to know how much of a filter factor it is for the others.

Also she has a very niche hobby in Astrology. Personal opinion aside, I don't think a lot of the Hololive's demographics are going to care for it. I actually enjoy this aspect of her. But let's be honest, it's not going to help her with the number department.

One of her genmates (Bae I think) said she has "insane art skills". So I am really looking forward to that and hopefully that will make her more popular.

I honestly hate Australian accents, I find them ugly. I realize that women exist in Australia but something about the accent just seems so masculine to me and it sort of turns me off. So when her debut started and I heard her talking I was kind of disappointed, and couldn't imagine myself liking her.

But it has been growing on me. I toughed it out because of all her generation she seems like the most interesting one, has a real niche, has a flair for the creative, and honestly her whole intro video was really clever and funny. The central conceit of the entire universe having imposter syndrome was great. I've rewatched it a few times and I started kind of getting used to her accent and warming up to it just because I like her a lot in spite of it.

Yeah I know it's superficial judging people for something like that, but I think it's inevitable that you'll end up being really judgmental when you're "picking" a favourite out of five people and you'll start overly focusing on the minutiae of them. Sana's accent was the second very obvious thing about her (first being her design) and at least in my mind it overshadowed a lot else about her. Some people didn't like her design with the retro anime eyes, some people didn't like her accent, but she's following that all up with some really good material in my opinion.

One major criticism I have of her: when she finished the horoscopes early, she pretty much failed to carry on the rest of the stream just with idle chatter. She'll need to get a lot better at that. Rrat has it figured out.
