In the message, he lists several games that the viewers WANT to see played (for example, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, and Rune Factory) and then listed what games Hololive members DO play: Minecraft, Apex and Social-network games. Additionally, he states that "this is probably the reason why Holomem's numbers are all declining".
In response, Botan laughs and wonders why the responsibility for the games other Holos play is being placed on her. She also states:

While I do typical think it's better for someone to enjoy something themselves 1st if they plan on having someone enjoy it 2nd hand through them. He is on to something. 1. He went to the wrong girl since Botan plays a decent selection of games from what I've seen on her channel. I think some holos do suffer from stale content since they're addicted to a single game but Botan isn't one of them.
2. More viewers need to understand how permissions for games work This might be a side effect of people coming in post Permissions Arc and not knowing how deadly of a game it is.

People want the streamer to have the same reaction they had to a game, but that's not going to happen. The streamer will play a game differently from how you did, may be more or less interested in the gameplay mechanics, may be more or less interested in the story, may react differently to certain characters or story beats. It's where a lot of frustration and backseating comes from, as well as the impression that a streamer is 'playing the game wrong'.

It's the equivalent of asking your wife to prepare a dish she's never made before the way your mother did when you were a kid. It will never taste the same as you remember, but if your first reaction is to yell at her then maybe you deserve to go hungry.

The answer has always been the same: watch someone else. Noel has played DQ and Nioh, a bunch of holos have played FF, Mio has played Monster Farm 2 and TWEWY, Subaru's games are too varied to list here... not to mention Nijisanji with their massive amount of chuubas.

The problem with his statement is he is demanding Botan to make the other girls play certain games that he think is far better than MC or Apex. There are 3 points that needs to be addressed here. 1. Only 4 girls out of the 50+ actually play Apex to any regulairty. MC while is common is not staple for every Chuuba. You barely see it being played by 1 girl everyday. Pekora is not a good example since she plays a lot of RPG titles. She has the most variety and completion rate. Kiara is the same as Pekora. Fubuki actually plays a lot of varied games too. That's not really true. Yes every Holo has their own niche of games they'll pick up from time to time but like 90% of their content is the same with maybe one interesting game in their weekly rotation. Like Noel when she spent half a year on Breath of the Wild or Aki/Fubuki spending forever on Death Stranding. Those streams are nice and all but don't really change the fact most of their schedules are just filler content every week, and this applies to almost everyone in Hololive. Pekora isn't the only holo who played MH:Rise and Shin-chan (Pekora barely broke 10k playing Shin-chan btw). Your logic applies to those holos too then.
