Even if Susan nuked thousands of subs, isn't this a pathetic display for HoloCouncil regardless?
Let's suppose a bunch of Hololive fans subscribed to them on their debut, and that they were supposed to have around 500k subs by now.
These fans subscribe and say "meh, I'll check back and watch them later".
But those fans never came back to watch them. If they did, they'd notice they were unsubscribed and sub back. But they didn't. Because nobody is interested in them and nobody is watching.
So since their debuts less than a week ago, they've still lost hundreds of thousands of interested fans.
What the fuck went so wrong?

I haven't subbed to any yet, I want to see whether or not I like them before subbing. So far I've scratched Fauna (boring) Sana (hate design) and Baelz (also hate design) I'm neutral on the other two so it's possible I may sub.

Honestly, I'd prefer a drop of 2-3 newbies every six months to a year or so rather then 5. It feels almost overwhelming and I know I can never watch all of their stuff. It's better to choose one or two per gen to focus on.

Their debut week game streams have higher numbers than NijiEN's debuts. It's not nice or fair to punch down like that like.

As for the subcount, there's been a lot of talk about having subs removed recently for many people, not just HoloCouncil. Youtube insists that they don't make people unsub (they say just a visual glitch if you see yourself unsubbed) but they change your subscriber count until they verify its not bots or something. For all we know there could be a bunch of ghost subs for HoloCouncil that are hidden right now and may or may not be restored.

Debut week numbers are very good so it's nothing to really worry about.

too be honest it probably because the theme is so chuuni and retarded, they are suppose to be all powerful gods millions of years blah blah...
seems like sci fi high concept something, it does not appears accessible and the designs are complex and dont seem relatable. when I think of their outfits, i cant describe them. unlike the outfits of holomyth.
also just the character themes compared to holomyth what is like classic shark, detective, octopus... now we have space, time, nature, civilization (wtf) and chaos (which is the only appealing one) - too abstract concepts
look just how BORING the teasers were like the prelude etc..... nobody outside of hololive got hyped AT ALL!!
the truth is marketing is everything and they flopped it...
