Honestly, it was a good learning experience. I actually learned a few good tricks from this model. Like the neck shadow is actually a permanent thing. It just gets clipped to remain inside the "neck" art mesh. Or how Ame has like... two sets of eyebrows? so she always looks happy, even if the top set of eyebrows is angry. That's a cool trick to make her more approachable even if she's "mad".

APEX Alternator actually made me think if there's value in such construction.
It makes sense if it's straight blowback, but the w bolts are connected on an axle and push each other.
So when one bolt is cycling backwards, it pushes the other bolt forward through the axle, feeds and shoots (if that's an open bolt SMG).

With mechanisms like this it is essentially a lever-delayed blowback where bolt needs to push mass of another detail before it can go back and unlock the chamber.

Which would allow you to use much hotter ammo than regular blowback.

You can even get away with using just 1 mag because both bolts can be set up to feed from their inner part.

The ejection can be set up to go down 1 shared shaft for both bolts. From the pic alone it doesn't seem like left bolt ejects anywhere, so maybe it's using caseless ammunition.

I just do this when I have some extra time since I like having cute clips to revisit when Ame's not streaming for the day, usually not the case since I'm in the process of both job hunting and moving now.
