So I finally managed to give this a try and its... surprisingly good honestly. Plays pretty smooth and some of the sounds and enemy designs genuinely made me laugh, good to play if there's an hour to spare or so. Kinda want to see koone give it a try.

For my cat, I really like her big collectathon series like DK64 or Sunshine if you want the full chill experience, but DKC or Yoshi's Island if you want to see her energy. Okayu's normally all about the barley tea throughout her day, but lately she's been going for water instead. The problem is, she usually has a couple of bottles, about 1 liter's worth, a day, but apparently at least 2 liters is the recommended daily amount. Okayu thinks she might be severely underhydrated, but it's hard for her to even drink that much. Maybe if she does it slower throughout the day.

Does she have this hydration problem with dance lessons? No, she can handle that much no problem when she does that. Karaoke's a little different though, come to think about it. Even though Okayu would go with friends for around 6 hours at a time, singing as much as they possibly could, Okayu would usually have no more than 1 full cup of water. Even though they'd buy unlimited access to the "drink bar", she'd be fine with just one glass. In order to combat this underhydration, Okayu's decided to start exercising recently. Since she thinks anything too hard will just cause her to hurl, she's been following exercise videos aimed at beginners, and practicing for around 20 minutes a day.

Okayu's mentioned it before, but she really does want to get it. The problem is, according to her, it's still really hard to find a copy packaged with the ring. People say it's not too hard? Where do they get it, the official site? Maybe she'll do a little more looking. Please let her know if you see it. Somebody tweets a link to it being available on Amazon within the minute.

It's really unusual how much Okayu likes this song. Normally she prefers darker songs, but something about this cheerful one just hits her differently. She loves listening to it, and has told Kanatan what a good song it is tons of times. You can find it on iTunes, even the visual design is bright and happy.

No, she just had a regular, long-term, part-time job when she was in high school, but a lot of the other students did short-term whenever there was a school break. Okayu's not quite sure what to do for tomorrow's stream yet. On one hand, she want to play some more Mario Kart with everybody. On the other, she hears that season 5 of Fall Guys is actually pretty fun. Also, she wants to play some Smash Brothers in the near future. Subaru's been really into it lately, so Okayu felt like playing it again for the first time in a long while. Unfortunately, since Okayu downloads all her games, her Switch is at full-capacity, so she needs to wait for the new memory card she ordered to arrive. She hasn't got the shipping notification yet, so she wonders when it will arrive. Additionally, she bought a new yellow/blue joycon, seeing as the stick on her old one was drifting.

Okayu's a little tired from bathing Temari earlier. It'd been almost half a year since she'd had one, so it was a bit of a struggle. Even worse than the bath itself for Temari, is the drying. Last time, Okayu used a hair-dryer to do it, and it scared and stressed poor Nyassu out so much that she leaked some poop. Okayu felt so bad for her that she bought 2 large towels to use instead this time. Temari didn't seem nearly as scared, and she's all fluffy now, so Okayu thinks she'll stick to this from now on. It was still a tiring affair though, and Okayu did not escape unscathed. At several points during the bath, Temari would suddenly panic, and leap right at Okayu's chest. Okayu, who was wearing a black camisole, was underequipped to deal with her claws. You can't tell at a glance because her/your shirt is covering it, but if she took it off, you could see that there's scratches all over the Okayu Valley. Okayu thinks it might be a common behavior in American Shorthairs, and apparently Ayame's cat, Jiru, has no problem with baths. Okayu thinks it's interesting how cats have a different meow when they're mad. Normaly Temari does her cute little "Nya!"'s when it's Churu time, but when it's vet or bath time it's more of a "NAUUU!". Of course, Temari got used to the vet with how much she had to go there, so now baths are her number one source of anger. Nail-trimming? She doesn't mind that so much anymore. Okayu thinks she's leveled up at nail-trimming. It was so bad in the past that Temari would punch Okayu's glasses clear off her face, but now it's totally fine.

I'd say Doom is one of them, there's a reason people keep harping on and on about her playing the sequel. Generally it's hard to pinpoint one specific stream though, for the more current ones there are some where she gets really excited like in behind the frame lately, some where she's just purely adorable and giggling all the time like in part-time UFO and some other where she's just emotionally raw like certain scenes in her FF9 playthrough. Yeah, I've considered trying to set something up to archive at least select Holos streams as they happen, but I'd want to upgrade my NAS before I do that, which would give me another 22TB on one of the zpools. I "only" have 10TB free right now, 9TB on one and about 1TB on another, but that could disappear fast if I decided to archive all streams.
Though I also want to re-do the drive setup since since my larger pool has 2 drives wasted since I expanded it later on... Fuck, I have a job now, I really should get this done.

Okayu just woke up not too long ago. She went to bed pretty early after getting back home from recording. She originally wanted to stream that night, but ended up being too tired, so she decided she'd do an extra morning stream today to make up for it. She went to bed around 8/9, and woke up at about 4:30. She had some breakfast, brushed her teeth, and now she's here. What'd she eat? She's been really into natto lately, so natto, tofu, and miso soup. She was really hungry when she woke up, probably because she went to bed so early, but now she's stuffed.

Okayu wants to play some Mario Kart with everybody today. She's had a real craving for it ever since Towa's collab. She also wants to play some Smash Bros. with her fans soon. She bought a huge memory card since she didn't have enough room to install Smash, and now her Switch has become super-ripped! She bought the biggest one on the site, so it has something like 512GB on it.

More than the games, besides Unite of course, Okayu's having a bit of a Pokemon craze lately. She and Subaru have been watching a lot of the anime together. Okayu's a big fan of the earlier stuff, but she's also been checking out some of the more recent ones too. The official channel has the episodes up, and they usually just pick whichever episode has an interesting title or thumbnail. Okayu hadn't watched much of XY, but she's amazed at how good the battle scenes look. She watched the one where Ash's Greninja went up against Mega Sceptile recently, and it felt like a movie to her. She and Subaru laughed when the announcer for the battle called Ash's Greninja strange when he did that synchro move with it; like the announcer had no clue what was going on either. She wants to see more about the whole synchro thing, but it looks like it's something that keeps happening over time, and can't be explained in one or two episodes. She feels like she really appreciates Greninja's coolness after watching it in the anime. Has she seen many of the movies? A good amount, though nothing recently. She feels she's seen at least half of them. She also talks about how the weird thick pronunciation the announcer uses when saying Greninja in Smash Bros.

Okayu's excited about playing it again. Why has she felt like playing it again recently? She played it a lot when it came out, but stopped before trying any of the DLC characters. But she remembers getting real excited when Hero from DQ was announced, specifically since the hero from III is voiced by Hiyama Nobuyuki. She really loves Hiyama's voice, and has for a long time; it's so cool, the way he yells. He voiced Hiei too, right? Okayu hasn't seen much Yuyu Hakusho, but her Baa-chan is a huge fan. Okayu really only knows his line about not underestimating the Jagan Eye. He voiced Veigue from Tales of Rebirth too, right? Okayu knows him as that yelling character. She feels like she always ends up yelling when talking about Hiyama.

There's only one left? It's always a big topic when somebody gets announced, so Okayu knows about it even if she hasn't played it in a long time. It's crazy how it's still going after all these years. Try guessing the next character? Okayu feels there's no way she'd be on the mark with that. They've already got Banjo and Kazooie, which makes her very happy; she really wants to play as them. After Wii Fit Trainer came out in the last game, Okayu gave up on trying to predict the roster. Ring Fit Trainer might join too? Or maybe just the Ring will join, sans trainer; you can't be sure. Sakurai himself? That'd be amazing if the man himself joined; nobody would expect that. Back on the topic of Banjo, as a kid, she always thought it'd be great if he joined, but figured it'd be too difficult to get him. She feels like her dream's already come true since he's in the game. She remembers freaking out that they were getting Banjo, Spiral Mountain, and even BGMs from the game. She's quite the otaku? Yes, she is, especially for Banjo and Kazooie.

Who else would she want? She loves Paper Mario, so it'd be fun to have him. Chunky Kong? She'd certainly be happy, but it'd be a little odd to have him as the final character; it should be somebody really famous. A Resident Evil character? That seems possible, even if she doesn't know the series well. Slippy? She likes him, so that'd be fine with her. Her image of him is more of him displaying enemy data on the monitor, or getting mad after being shot though. She was real happy when Wolf joined the roster too. Monster Hunter or Kingdom Hearts? Could be. Fox, Falco, and Slippy would be a weird group to have. Might as well call Peppy, but he did retire, after all. Oh, Krystal would be great! Have her instead of Slippy. Okayu played a lot of Starfox in kindergarten and grade school. Most of them are shooting games, but she also really loved Adventures. Crash Bandicoot? He seems likely too. All of these honestly seem possible to her. There's so many weird choices, to the point where nothing really seems that unlikely anymore.

Okayu already has today's MK thumbnail made. She really did intend to stream last night, but was just too tired to do it. She wrote about it in her diary for members, but she really feels her biggest issue is her lack of stamina. She's happy that she has so many things to record/practice lately, but she's also sad that she doesn't always have the energy to stream afterwards. That's why she's started exercising with videos aimed towards beginners on Youtube, and why she bought Ring Fit Adventure too. Funnily enough, even this quest for more energy is draining her of energy. It'll be a slow process. People want to see her Ring Fit stream? Well, she probably won't be able to stream it since her streaming room is too small; she'll just do it in her living room on her own time. You want to see it no matter what? Even a twitcast with sound only? Eh...? Well, if she can find a way to do it without too much hassle, she'll consider doing Ring Fit streams. Lamy did it in a 1.5 tatami room? Okayu remembers her saying something like that. Well, Okayu will think about it. Everybody's probably expecting some sensitive voices, but unfortunately Okayu will be going "UWOOOOO!" instead. Lamy mentioned the room smelled afterwards? True, scents do seem to linger in the soundproof rooms. Okayu's still smells like glue after using the glue gun.

A comment about a type of soundproof board from choir gets Okayu talking about being in choir, as well as reminding her of being part of the school broadcast committee. You'd love to have heard Okayu announcing things over your school's intercom? Okayu wonders if she was any good at it. You'd try your best if you heard her as an announcer at the sports festival? She had to do that too. She always felt like it was a little cruel how they had to tell whichever team was in last to do their best. There was even a time where she was part of the cheer club(ouendan), and had to juggle that with the broadcast committee. It was hell. She did a lot of things that involved voice work? She never thought of it that way. There was no real impetus for her choices. She just turned off her brain and picked things. She didn't want to have to stay at school after hours, so she picked things that would protect her free time. She was fine not having as many breaks during classes, and even got to enjoy a few privileges for being part of the committee.

>Why she became less active
When she was in elementary school, recess was tag, lunch break was dodgeball. You wouldn't think it, but Okayu used to be a very active, outdoor cat. She would always place 2nd or 3rd in the school marathons. She had way more stamina than she does now. What turned her into this swamp cat? Hmmm. It has to be that she stopped going to school in middle school. She was bullied a lot, to the point where she stopped coming to school, and that has to be where she lost a lot of opportunities to be as active as she normally was. It's probably what made her become an introverted cat too. It may seem like it's a bit of a dark topic, but it's the truth, and what matters it that she's happy now. She'll do her best to get it back with Ring Fit.
