I really don't see the point of spending effort on lore that'll just be restrictive on the talents if it does anything at fucking all. IMO let talents just write their own lore if they feel like, for example it seems like Haachama's schizo story was all just her going with it because she wanted to. I mean wasn't the point of Alter to show what the characters would/could ideally be like as distinct fictional entities, so that in essence we don't have to go trying to distort the actual chuubas behind such a mask?

If you look at the reactions of what people have gotten so far out of EN2, "lore" is nowhere in the picture essentially. Mumei being cute, Kronii's hot voice etc had nothing to do with lore. They're barking up the wrong tree trying to pretend like this is actually-an-anime when it just is not really the same thing. Chuubas are at-closest like a sort of sandbox form of anime (as opposed to a sandbox game vs linear plot game).

The HoloEN lore is a power trip introducing characters with backstories that make them affected by power creep. It will not affect that much their streaming abilities but it will put ridiculous expectations about their roles unless the lore can be used for media and fan-art/fiction, and HoloCouncil may be too much compared with HoloMyth
Meanwhile, Kirby is a franchise with stories centered aroiund excuse plots à la Super Mario, but then devolve into confroting greater threats while keeping the plot easily understandable, and background cues (menus, designs, game modes, etc.) connect elements of the universe while there still remains a sense of mysticism

Lore is a flavour, not the meal. And it only works if the chuuba embraces it. Bad manager-dictated lore can give us unfitting archetypes and forced ships. Amelia being a detective is a total waste because it doesn't fit her at all. Mori being the grim reaper's apprentice is great because it fits with her Persona3 hard-on and gap moe between edgy and dork. But it's a frame that's meant to be outgrown as the chuuba gets more comfortable, as they and their community build their own lore from experiences and personality - something far more tangible a story than what Omega is likely to cook up
