I've been a vocal "complaining about her audio settings"-fag in the past, but lately... either I'm already being completely mindbroken by her, or she did really improve her settings a bit. Mind you, it's not completely perfect and probably never will be, but at least I feel the worst is gone and the edge of the harshness/clicking/popping/fry/whatever has been taken off a bit. I don't know what she did (reduce gain, lay off the compression, increase mic distance, use pop filter, etc...) but it's working.

I'm more excited by the teased potential of a voice call. I get Kiara's apprehension, doing a full multi-hour collab with voices right at the start would be overkill and too much unnecessary yab potential (mama forgetting kayfabe and dropping RL names, etc.), but she didn't seem totally against ANY kind of voice interaction, she just needs to think it over and figure out the right setting. Probably starting with a short prerecorded message at first, something you can plan out and screen beforehand, to ease themselves in, after that maybe a live call limited to 5-10 minutes (long enough to get some conversation flowing and not just "okthxbye", but not too long that it overstays its welcome or an aforementioned yab happens).

As for Diablo 2, sure that could be fun with Mama, but if she's not on voice throughout the playthrough and only text chatting occasionally (which works better in a more relaxed game like minecraft in the first place), I'd rather she do a coop stream with another Holo that she can actually really talk to live.

I think I just figured out why Kiara insists on keeping the chicken voice. Around 3h10m into the most recent mamatori stream she did a "wide kiara" voice, and I noticed she sounded foreign/ESL as fuck. Maybe she has noticed her accent is harder to hear when she's high pitched and is too self conscious to go natural.

I'm not sure how much sufferkino potential there really is in an RPG even and action RPG. Never forget the Ryza 1 final boss where she was undergeared, underleveled and underprepared and still got him on the 2nd try.

Same. They had their 'characters' built and were kinda locked in to them. I mentioned it earlier, but I honestly don't know if I would have liked/watched debut Kiara. VoD watching is fascinating because I know where she goes, but her slightly meek and horribly self-doubting self from back then probably would have really turned me off. First MK8 stream was the first time it seems she really started to get into 'character' and started having some confidence in her ability to entertain and despite the depression during the moving arc, she still kept the enthusiasm to some degree.
The saviourfagging feeling is strong watching those VoD's though and it feels real good to know that people were in her corner and didn't leave once she found footing and her 'style' changed.

To the Anon who asked the question last thread, Diablo 2 can be sufferkino. I can just imagine Kiara getting to Duriel (second act boss) and dying over and over while forgetting to open a portal while in his lair meaning she'll have to do a 2 minute walk to her body every time just to get slapped again by him. The game is also pretty rough if you're not following a build guide, but I think if she's listening to chat a lot or Mamatori is actually there for it all, she'll be fine. Still going to be a ton of moments where she gets hit to low health and panics (like she always does) resulting in her needing to run back to her body instead of just popping a up a portal before dying.
