I tried listening to it a few times. The problem is that the composer tried to make them talk too much, and cut off the harmony of the music. It was fine in Ahoy when it was done sparingly. Here they overdid it, which is why people saying it felt too chaotic. Only the chorus offered some kind of harmony, but the instruments drowned out much of the singing there as well.

"in Japanese at least it is consciousness of this barrier that causes the occurrence of laughter in discourse. In other words, people laugh as part of the process of opening up to others, and also to show their intention to be co-operative. So this is from the last thread, but I have been evaluating Mochi Sakura. It helps that she has sung so many songs.
In short, I would call her an alternative Stella, with some elements of Chima. First, the good:

Departures https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwWHeenbA6E&t=18660s
Comparing to Chima's version, you can see she has the buttery smoothness of Chima's voice (though they're not the same).
God knows https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdAt2t_5gwQ&t=1473s
She can do fast songs like God knows and Seikan Hikou while sounding clear. This reminds me of Stella.
Sincerely https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwWHeenbA6E&t=20480s
Compared to Stella's version, Sakura is softer in the way she belts.

The bad: She struggles with lower notes in some songs, like Spring Thief (which she acknowledges on stream as being too low). She lacks practice in quite a few songs (though that is understandable considering how she sings like 9 hours each stream).

The strange: there are huge differences between her covers of the same song. For instance, in another version of Departures, she sounded very shrill (which is bad). It's clear that she's been experimenting with singing styles and audio setups. That means one has to find the best version on holodex.

tl;dr: would listen more.

Well, her mic isn't ready for the power of her voice, but she's already showing off that her studio stuff isn't production magic. There is spectrum of quality, when it comes to criticism or praise. "X bad" would just be a vote of preference. "X went off pitch in song Y at time Z" is a specific opinion that leaves room for others to judge for themselves.
Opinions are subjective and we still argue, and mentioning popular vtubers can bring out the contratrians and groupies. But usually the people looking for new good vsingers are genuinely interested in quality discussions, which makes the thread more tolerable.

Pretty good, her approach gives me the image of someone sitting on the couch, whisper singing while staring at the sunset and leaning against your shoulder. While she does sound a little strained going up for the top of Koko, that's an incredibly high note given where she started and she managed to hit. Her ear twitches are also oddly hypnotic, and I appreciate her not having them rigged to her eyelids.

So here is a fun fact I just found: at 2:20 of the original Kokoronashi, there is a distinctive 20-second aria. Many singers skip it (like Chima, CocoTsuki and Matsuri). But those who do it (full 20 seconds or not), can express their creativity.

Hachi (partial) https://youtu.be/-JRgK55VNLo?t=6089
QuonTama (full) https://youtu.be/0J5S7d0-RoI?t=6320
Leona (full) https://youtu.be/x5kMkL2L7hQ?t=2264
Mochi Sakura (partial) https://youtu.be/znIlJRD7Frs?t=6870
Shirose Aoi (full) https://youtu.be/wEE4YZWVcy8?t=6800

It is interesting to see how they each do it. Hachi stopped in the middle for some reason. QuonTama is certainly the loudest. While Sakura invented the most original aria.

I did AZKi's fanbox before she moved to Youtube, and what she published ranged from text journal updates to behind the scene talk with her and her manager in the form of unlisted Youtube videos to acapella singing that was hosted directly on Fanbox itself. As the previous people said, it could be literally anything. I'd personally give it a month for them to post stuff, then join. That'll give you a sample of 2 months worth of content to decide upon if it's worth it, without really delaying you being able to engage with the content since it'll take a bit for it to be posted so there's no real point in joining right away. The only real downside would be that you get a fancy digital Fancard that shows your join date and it wouldn't be day zero.

Streaming on Reality seems to be more of a choice then an obligation, since Hachi hasn't in a very long time, and I don't think Emma has either. Bilibili's absence of rules (or lack of enforcement for non bugmen channels) is actually a good thing. We can still watch HACHI's REALITY archives from there of which non are available on Youtube because of heavy enforcement not to mention the power of copyright trolls who do not own any rights but can take down videos on a whim. Hacchi being firm declining the Chinese market will allow her to avoid chink meltdowns. The Taiwanese and BR have been long fans following her from REALITY to YT, if the mainlanders want to show support then let them use a VPN from TW as catering to them specifically by using Bili is an unnecessary death wish which both RK Music and Hachi understand.

Well, I guess I'm not gonna be watching the live part. The girl can certainly hold a note, and that works perfectly with that song. It's a shame more people don't sing it, and the accent is cute on top of it.

As for how, just sing gud and get clipper exposure. Though I think Leona has not had any big clips for a while so it's just her covers and Apex legends bringing people in.

I just took a look at Joe. He sings a lot of oldies that are uncommon for vsingers, and therefore refreshing. His voice is rather suited for it too. However, as far as criticism goes, there are lots of off-pitch moments, like when he got to "kara" here.

Ago has improved a lot and has gone from being completely awful to passable, but I wouldn't say he's good. His rapping is a lot better than his singing too. For me, I like giving new vsingers a try. It is like discovering treasure. The more vsingers I listen to, the more I can pick up the small differences between them. It's the same for every hobby: the more anime you watch the more you recognize the cliches. Sometimes a new vsinger can give a new take on the same song I'd listened to so many times before, and that's a nice feeling.

Of course, if one is lazy, one can leaf through singers pre-screened by the thread in the primer. I'd say more than half are good.

Listen more until you can say more than half are bad, until your ears bleed from unrefined singers, till you acquire ears of a critic and hate listening to singers that aren't in top form.
