Some people here still want to cling to the "golden age" where /infinity/ was the split that could rival and even surpass global at times during debut month. Naturally as time passes, tourists would either have fucked off or settled into their oshis, maybe also just get integrated into global. Some people in /infinity/ though, really got high on having a superiority over global, that they resisted getting along and tried to keep the other EN fandoms, notably Council, in it by pushing the "unity" image as if that's not what global goes for in the first place. In reality, this "unity" was more like "anti-global" in that they wanted to differentiate from global by welcoming in fandoms that weren't accepted in global, or at least wasn't fully yet in the case of Council back in the early days, now mostly they are accepted and talked in global minus Kronii since a lot of Kronies just stuck here. Its also why there were a number of niji posting back in the day til meidos finally started banning them so they laid low and mostly you can only see them start posting when the thread is on bump limit and at page 10 since people are less caring and meidos are less likely to bother.
Anyways, this let other fandoms stuck around for longer until you can only like see 1 or 2 posters of them still here mostly just horny posting their oshi. Used to be more Council discussions back in the day, heck no one mentions or posts Sana anymore unless its related to Kronii. I remember there used to be a time when /rrat/ was often posting here since their threads couldn't survive for long. Well as more of the other fandoms finally started to go back to their splits or into global, this naturally led to /infinity/ slowing down more and then some fags would be upset of this, leading to them increasing their posting to cope and keep the illusion that things are still the same as when debut was still fresh.
And then due to how there were actually less people here and some anons here absolutely refusing to go into global or even just checking out other threads, it made them more aware of posting styles and patterns of the few that are still here. Then at some point there started a time where people liked labeling others, maybe due to Gabe being found out? Threads also started getting worse because of Kronii's sparse scheduling, leading to conflict and drama here, some Kronies ended up moving out either due to how threads were or to find a different oshi. After the dust settled, well, basically you have the really patient(or schizo as some would say) Kronies sticking around. They would be more tolerant of shit than other fandoms, including namefags. Also probably partially because they are being contrarians to how global acts like.
